This photograph is from my flower collection.  My mother-in-law sent us newly planted flowers in a pot for Christmas 2009, and this is what came of it after a month of TLC.  I took this picture with the lights off in our then apartment and let the sunlight shine on the flowers.  February 2010

A group of us went tubing down the Guadalupe River in Austin, Texas.  I didn't want to bring my camera along for the wet ride, so I bought a disposable camera for $7.00... I was a little bummed since I knew the scenery was going to be beautiful, but after I developed the pictures, I was pleased with the results...

White Sands

White Sands National Monument has stunning pure-white sand dunes!  Take a look at the back sand dune... you can see someone's footprints embedded in the sand.  I recommend everyone visit this place... you won't see anything like it anywhere else in the United States.  March 2010

Romania isn’t known as a touristy destination, however when my husband and I travel there, we find it to be beautiful.  And just like Romania, Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle, has some beautiful areas.  This is one of them.  August 2010

The Promise of Love

My husband and I received the ”Promise” Willow Tree sculpture for our one year anniversary.  I placed it on our hammered copper table and made sure to get our blue painted wall in the background.  The colors contrast nicely.  “Hold dear the promise of love.”  July 2010

Big Bend Sunset

My husband and I decided to take a road trip, a rather long road trip, to Big Bend National Park.  We drove from Houston to the other side of Texas to tackle the 6 mile hike uphill to the “South Rim”.  It took several hours, but the view was well worth it… I was able to capture a moment where my husband was watching the sun set over the Rio Grande.  November 2009

The Beginning

This is the picture that started it all… July 2009… Zihuatanejo, Mexico.  My husband and I were on our honeymoon when I saw “El Hombre” as I call him.  He was walking on the beach with his musical instrument, and he just stopped right in front of me… perfect shot, I thought… I grabbed my camera, and this is what came of it… so begins this little project of mine…
